2009 Scoring Explained

For 2009 we will use the same scoring format as last year. Teams will use their 5 highest scores from 7 days of racing. We think 5 from 7 gives teams the greatest choice.
  • All of the events picking their 5 best scores.
  • 2 X 2 day events & 1 X 1 day event.
  • 2 X 2 day events & The Kilbroney Challenge.
  • 4 X 1 day events & The Kilbroney Challenge.
  • 3 X 1 day events & 1 X 2 day event.
  • 2 X 1 day events, 1 X 2 day event & The Kilbroney Challenge.
  • The choices just keep going on.
The dates below are those which we'll be counting. 300 points will be on offer for the winning team on each days worth of racing. Scores will then go on a sliding scale decreasing 3 points with each place, so 2nd place will get 297 points, 3rd place 294 and so on. Teams need to remain the same to score points in the series. Click on the links for more details on each event.

20th June The Kilbroney Challenge

New for this year we have included this race, the guys at NTSR put on such a good race last year it would be a shame not to include it. Again fastest team wins over a numeric order route. 300 points for the winning team, each team after drops three points.
