Winter Series Leader Board

In the past we have did our best to keep the costs down as much as we can so
that you can enjoy good value for money events. The numbers of teams taking part this year are up on past years so we have
decided to have prizes for each round as well as overall series prizes. At the end of each event we will have a prize giving
and we would be grateful if you could stick around and give the winners a bit a cheer. Points for the series will be worked
out on your best 3 results out of the 4 events. 100 points for 1st place going down 1 point for each place, only teams which
have dibbed at all the controls will be ranked. All bonus loop teams will rank above the non bonus loop teams but to be in
with a chance you've got to make the event cut-off time.

Open Adventure are putting on
a 2 day stage adventure race. The event will appeal to beginners and experienced racers alike with entries open to Solos,
Pairs and Mixed teams of 4 and is unashamedly a copy of a successful Adventure Race format that was run by Phil Humphries
between 1998 and 2006. Phil's races are what hooked us into this great sport and we're happy to say that James from
Open Adventure has agreed to give us 3 free pairs entries into this event which runs a month after the series is over. The
leading pairs from male, female and mixed classes will each get one of these free entries. The Open Adventure Prizes can only
be used by the winning teams and are non-transferable, if you're in with a chance please keep the weekend of the event
free. |
